A message to our Wholesale Customers one the eve of "crunch time":
The US Postal Service and Fed-Ex are entering their period of extremely high volume. We also know this is your busy season and you are getting numerous requests to "get things done" by a certain deadline. We thought this would be a great time to offer up our helpful hints for successfully ordering your needed supplies and making sure you have the most successful, profitable, and STRESS-FREE season you can have!
DON'T BE SHY!
We recommend you order your supplies for anticipated sales ahead of time and avoid "just in time" delivery of the blanks and other supplies you will need to complete your customer orders. We have worked hard to make sure we have lots of inventory, but we can't predict when we'll have a particularly large order that wipes us out of something and leaves us scrambling to get more. When we are out of something, so are you! So to avoid disappointment, order your most popular items early.
WE'RE HUSTLIN' HERE!
We know sometimes you have unexpected big orders and need something in a hurry. We are working diligently to maintain a 24-36 hour turnaround time on orders during this peak season. Take that processing time into consideration when choosing your preferred delivery method.
KEEPING TRACK OF IT ALL
We are already starting to see an increase in packages that take an extra day or two to arrive. We are also seeing an increase in packages that aren't scanned every step of the way. If your package doesn't show any tracking information right away, please wait a couple days before contacting us or the post office. Often times these packages are on their way but the tracking isn't updated until they reach a further checkpoint. Well over 99% of our packages arrive on time with no problems, but once a package leaves our warehouse, there is nothing we can do to make it get to you faster/quicker/more efficiently. While we're happy to help, we can only see the same tracking information you can see when you track your package. If your package is a day or two behind schedule or has been mis-routed and clearly shows progress in its delivery cycle, we can do nothing but wait for it to work through the system. Calling us will unfortunately not get the package moving through their system faster.
IF IT ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY HAS TO GET THERE...
One of the most common things we hear when there's any type of delivery delay is "I needed that for a deadline". We have committed thoroughly to getting packages out the door as quickly as possible and that's what we can promise you. Once the package leaves our warehouse, it's in the hands of the shipping companies. If you need something by a hard deadline, we offer Express/Guaranteed delivery options to ensure the best possible chance of getting it to you on that date. Using US Postal System or FedEx Ground delivery is NOT a guaranteed delivery method and packages are at the mercy of the system. We can't stress this enough---if you need something for a hard deadline, we highly recommend using one of the Express delivery methods offered (Overnight, 2-Day, Express Saver 3-Day). That's the ONLY guaranteed delivery method.
RUSH IT TO ME!
We do offer a rush processing service if you are truly in a bind. If you need us to drop everything we're doing and get your order out TODAY, we can make that happen. Here's what you need to know:
1) Rush orders must be placed before 2:00pm Eastern in order to make it out the door that day. Otherwise, they will go out first thing the next business day.
2) Add a RUSH CHARGE to your shopping cart by doing a search for "RUSH" on the website. It will come up and you can add it to your shopping cart. This will set off an alert to us that there's a rush order in the system and we'll drop the order we're working on to go get yours rolling!
3) Rush Processing is an extra $10 if you are having it sent using a GROUND delivery method. If you select a FedEx Express method (such as Overnight or 2-Day Air), the service fee is included in that shipping charge. If you pick a FedEx Express method, you're covered!
4) Rush Processing is just that---PROCESSING. It means you get to cut the line! It does NOT mean you are getting overnight shipping for $10. You still need to select your preferred method of shipping. (see #3 for more about that)
We want nothing more than to help you have the most successful season! We have committed to large inventory and negotiated the best rates possible with FedEx. We have a solid staff of wonderful ladies picking and packing your goodies and getting them out the door ASAP. We will do everything humanly possible to get you the supplies you need to make your customers as happy as can be and we hope this list of seasonal shipping hints & tips will help you accomplish that ultimate goal!
All the best this Holiday Season!
